Rediscovering Birth by Sheila Kitzinger
Sheila Kitzinger has written dozens of books on childbirth over the last 40 years. Her most recent book, Rediscovering Birth, looks at how our historical and cultural background influences the way we give birth. If you are interested in gaining a broader perspective on how childbirth is viewed in different cultures, this is a wonderful book. However, be warned that this is not a “what to expect” style birth preparation book.
